Metal processing from A to Z

At our modern Service Center, we process steel, stainless steel and aluminium into components and semi-finished products for a wide range of industrial applications. Our machinery is suitable for both individual, bespoke projects and larger industrial production runs. We combine advanced technology with the knowledge and experience of our employees. By carrying out several processing steps within a single Service Center, we keep the production route clear and manageable. Components can be cut, bent, formed, deburred, ground, machined and welded in sequence. This reduces the number of handovers and allows us to monitor quality and progress throughout the entire process.

Our activities in Poland:

  • Processing steel, stainless steel and aluminium
  • Cutting services and fabrication and finishing services
  • Metal processing for smaller bespoke projects and larger production runs

Steel, stainless steel and aluminium

Roba Metals Poland specialises in processing steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Using a range of cutting, forming, machining and finishing techniques, we produce components and semi-finished products that meet our customers’ technical requirements and fit their production processes.

Steel
We process steel sheets and components using techniques such as laser cutting, plasma cutting, waterjet cutting, bending, milling, turning and welding. Depending on the application and product specifications, we combine different processing techniques within a single production route.

Stainless steel
For stainless steel, we offer precise cutting, bending, machining, welding and surface finishing. In every case, we take account of the component’s required dimensions, finish and functional specifications.

Aluminium
At our Service Center, we also cut, bend, machine, finish and weld aluminium. Using our various processing techniques, we manufacture aluminium components and semi-finished products in accordance with customer specifications.

Metal cutting

The right cutting technique depends on the material, thickness, required geometry and specifications of the finished product. Roba Metals Poland therefore operates a range of cutting machines for steel, stainless steel and aluminium. These allow us to produce both straightforward contours and complex shapes while using material as efficiently as possible.

Laser cutting
Laser cutting offers a high level of accuracy and is suitable for a wide variety of shapes and contours. This technique enables us to produce components with consistent cut quality and efficient material utilisation.

Punch laser cutting
Punch laser cutting combines several processing options within a single production process. This technique is suitable for sheet components featuring a range of cut-outs, contours and formed elements.

Waterjet cutting
Waterjet cutting is a versatile cutting technique that can achieve accurate shapes and complex geometries. As the material is cut without the application of heat, this method is suitable for applications where preserving the material structure is important.

Plasma cutting
Plasma cutting is particularly suitable for the efficient cutting of thicker sheet material. The technique offers a practical combination of speed, capacity and flexibility.

Fabrication and finishing services

After cutting, we can further form, finish and process metal components. At our Service Centre, we combine bending, deburring, grinding, milling, turning and welding within a single production route. This allows us to produce steel, stainless steel and aluminium components and semi-finished products that meet our customers’ technical specifications and are prepared for the next stages of their production processes.

Bending and forming
Using four powerful press brakes, we can produce both straightforward bends and complex shapes involving multiple bending operations. We process thin stainless steel sheet as well as heavier structural components. Our tandem set-up allows us to bend components up to six metres long, with a maximum pressing force of 640 tonnes. This means we can form larger sheet sections and heavier components accurately and consistently in accordance with the required specifications.

Deburring and surface finishing
After cutting and forming, components may require additional surface finishing. We deburr and grind metal components to remove sharp edges and further finish their surfaces. Our Costa deburring machine allows us to deburr components, grind surfaces and apply a brushed finish.

The appropriate finish depends on the material, its application and the requirements of the finished product. These processes contribute to safer handling, a high-quality appearance and effective preparation for assembly or further processing.

Milling and turning
For components that require further mechanical processing, we offer CNC milling and turning. These techniques allow us to produce accurate components and complex shapes in accordance with customer specifications. They are suitable for applications where tight tolerances and consistent quality are important.

Our milling and turning capabilities are used in sectors including manufacturing, construction, mechanical engineering, automotive, medical technology and aerospace. With modern machinery and experienced employees, we ensure that components are well prepared for the next stages of the customer’s production process.

Welding
Roba Metals Poland provides TIG, MIG and MAG welding for steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Our Service Center is equipped with four separate welding bays, eight Siegmund welding tables and Fronius welding technology. This enables us to produce strong and accurate welded joints for a wide range of components and applications.

By combining welding with cutting, bending, surface finishing and machining, we can complete several production stages within a single production route. Instead of receiving a separate intermediate product, the customer receives a component that is further prepared for assembly or use within their own production process.
