Conex Compression fittings are high-quality brass connectors that allow pipes to be connected easily and reliably. The compression mechanism creates a gas- and water-tight connection that can withstand high pressure and high temperatures. Conex knelfittingen zijn geschikt voor diverse toepassingen en bieden betrouwbare prestaties onder uiteenlopende omstandigheden: 

  • Liquids
    Operating pressure up to 25 bar at temperatures up to 110 °C (sizes 6–54 mm)
    For larger sizes (66,7–108 mm):  6 bar at 65 °C and 4 bar at 110 °C 
  • Gas installations
    Operating parameters: 1 bar at temperatures from -20 °C to +70 °C 
  • Compressed air
    Operating parameters: 10 bar at temperatures to 45 °C

Maintenance and points to note for brass compression fittings

Although brass compression fittings are very reliable, correct installation remains essential. Ensure that pipes are clean, round, and free of burrs before installing the fitting. Tighten the nut according to the guidelines to ensure a durable seal.

When used in aggressive or humid environments, we recommend using DZR brass (dezincification-resistant) or red brass (gunmetal) for extra protection against material corrosion.
