Roba Metals UK has been active in the British metal recycling industry since 1987. Across three sites in the Midlands, we process large volumes of post-consumer aluminium and other non-ferrous metals into high-quality materials for remelting. We supply these materials to remelting facilities in the United Kingdom, Europe and other international markets.

Aluminium and other non-ferrous metals

We process a variety of aluminium and other non-ferrous metal streams into materials that can be reused by remelting facilities. Our focus is on providing consistent material quality and a reliable supply to our customers.

Aluminium cuttings
Aluminium cuttings are generated during a range of industrial production and processing operations. We purchase and process these material streams, preparing them for reuse as raw material in the production of new aluminium.

Aluminium plate
Aluminium plate and plate offcuts can also be recovered and reused. We process these materials appropriately and supply them to customers who remelt them for use in new applications.

Aluminium extrusions
We process aluminium extrusions and residual materials from extrusion processes. Depending on their composition and quality, these materials are sorted and prepared for further processing and remelting.

Secondary aluminium
Post-consumer and other secondary aluminium streams are an important part of our activities. We process these materials into high-quality, consistent raw materials for remelting facilities.

Copper and copper alloys
In addition to aluminium, we process copper and a wide range of copper alloys. We assess and process these material streams with a view to achieving high-quality reuse.

Collection of production scrap

Production scrap is generated by a wide range of industrial processes. Thanks to our many years of experience in managing industrial recycling contracts, we have the knowledge and resources to support companies throughout the United Kingdom with the collection and processing of these material streams. We provide bins and skips on site, selected to suit the type of material, the available space and the volumes generated by the supplier. We then arrange collection and further processing. This creates a practical recycling solution tailored to the customer’s production process. Depending on the material stream, we can provide smaller bins for plate, bar ends and similar materials, larger containers for extrusions, cuttings, wire and plate, and roll-on/roll-off containers for turnings, cuttings, extrusions and dross.
