Stainless steel cutting, finishing and machining under one roof

Not every stainless steel project requires the same approach. In some cases, speed is the main priority. In others, cutting quality and preservation of the material structure are essential. You may also need complete components that can move directly to the next stage of your production process. That is why we combine different processes in Aalten to create one efficient and logical production route.

  • Stainless steel waterjet cutting
    When cutting quality, precision and preservation of the material structure are important, waterjet cutting is often the best choice. It is a cold cutting process without heat input, which means that the structure of the stainless steel remains intact.
  • Stainless steel plasma cutting
    When speed and efficiency are important, we use plasma cutting. This technique is suitable for stainless steel plate products where short processing times are essential and components need to be available quickly for subsequent production stages.
  • Stainless steel deburring and grinding
    After cutting, we provide the finishing required for your application. We use deburring to remove burrs and sharp edges. Grinding is used when surface quality, cleanability, appearance or a specific Ra value is important.
  • Stainless steel machining
    At our CNC-controlled machine shop, we produce high-quality components and semi-finished products from stainless steel plate. For complex shapes and specifications, we use techniques including turning, milling, drilling and tapping.

Every order at the Plate Center is inspected. Quality control is not treated as a separate final inspection, but as an integral part of a controlled process. We also monitor progress closely. Depending on the requirements of your application, certification options and additional inspections are available. Roba Metals operates in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EN 1090.
