Natural Zintek

Natural Zintek® is a high-quality copper titanium alloy produced in accordance with the European norm EN 988 (“Zinc and Zinc alloys”) for rolled flat products and awarded/provided with a KOMO product certificate.

The natural look/appearance of titanium zinc is a shiny grey colour.  After exposure to atmospheric conditions a self-protective film of zinc carbonate emerges on the surface of the product. Due to natural aging the product gets a slate grey colour over time. 

The natural appearance of zinc can be altered by a treatment of the surface. This treatment does not change the corrosion resistance of the material.
